Interested in serving as a representative for The climate consensus?

As a representative, your duties will include participating in regular (virtual) meetings with representatives from other universities, planning and facilitating department or campus-level meetings, and coordinating outreach events in your region. There are also opportunities to volunteer as a member of a working group and to provide/receive support for others who are engaged in this work.

Notice: We are in the process of incorporating as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. As we continue to build a strong foundation for our network, we have temporarily paused recruitment of representatives from new universities. However, if you are interested in representing your university in the future, please fill out this form and we will be in touch when recruitment resumes. Thank you for your interest!

Please note the following:

  • Only complete this form for yourself, as faculty member or graduate student who is interested in serving as a representative. If you know of someone else who might be interested in serving in this role, please ask them to complete the form.

  • We are not accepting undergraduate student representative requests at this time. We hope that you will play an active role in this work, but want to ensure that you are fully supported by faculty at your university as demonstrated by their willingness to serve as a representative.

  • For graduate student representatives, please identify a faculty member within your department who is willing to serve as a mentor. This person does not need to be actively involved with the group, but will be able to provide department-level support for this work while also serving as a permanent contact for the institution.
